Experiment 626 may have been the best creation of Dr. Jumba Jookiba, but as cunning and nearly indestructible as it is, 626 can't help but fall in love with the beautiful people of Hawaii, and it becomes best friends with a sweet little girl named Lilo. Lilo named 626 "Stitch" and later Stitch became a part of her family. You can learn to draw Stitch following the steps outlined next.

Materials: 3 sets of ikea trones, wallpaper adhesive, sponge brush, mural printed from rasterbator.com, clear coat, electrical tape
Description: I used the technique behind Mod Podging something to adhere a mural onto 9 compartments of the IKEA Trones. I used a sponge brush and wall paper adhesive to paste the images onto the fronts and then again over the top of the images. Once it was dried I used a clear coat to seal the images. I then waited for the mural to dry and then evened out the sides of the compartments with electrical tape.

Materials: Besta Cabinet with Door. AVSIKT Glass door 18x39, frosted glass, aluminum. INREDA Light strip silver color, And some cable management, Wall mount for LCD.
Description: I live in a large single apartment so things were getting a little tight, and wanted to make the space look better.
I originally got some ideas from visiting IKEA Hackers. I must have taken 5 trips to IKEA before figuring how I was going to achieve what I wanted..
So I decided that the kitchen cabinet door was just the right size and enough space for a keyboard and mouse. I used two L bracket to secure it to the wall. Even though the door has glass in the middle the edges are metal and was able to secure it to the L bracket with metal screws. The LCD was mounted on the wall and my HP Envy printer with additional papers would fit in a Framsta cabinet that would be placed above the LCD at 90 degree angle to the the LCD.
I added the led light under the kitchen door to give it a cool look, also the light under the Framsta cabinet cause I needed more light. Didn't take me long to mount all this, I actually finished in a few hours over a couple of days. I needed to cover and ugly old heater that came with this old place so I used a curtain and a staple gun. My computer tower fit well under the desk area. I also purchased a plastic mat for the area under the desk in order for my office chair wheels to not get caught on the rug.

Add to myYahoo! This downhill machine looks like so much fun but I would hate to see what happens if a deer walks across the path of the driver, those small brake levers wouldn’t stop it very quickly when you build up the type of speed we can see in the video. The video above is of a [...]

Materials: 4 odd bits of IKEA Ekby Ståtlig shelves (pieces from 28cmx119cm), Circular saw, Biscuit jointer+8 biscuits, White glue, Clamps
Description: After having put up some IKEA Ekby Ståtlig shelves in my bathroom I found myself with some shelf leftovers...I felt it would be a shame to throw the nice bits of solid birch wood...
So I came up with the hack idea to hack the (flat) Ekby shelves to a 3D cube - a solid, versatile piece which goes pretty much anywhere in the house - Use it as a side table, a stool, a shelf, or anything that's needed at your place!
Here are the instructions:
1. Get some clean cuts with a little help from a circular saw. The aims is to get all 4 sides form a nice cube (hence, top and bottom should be the same length, as should the side pieces)...
2. Use a genius tool called a Biscuit Jointer, ideal for angled 90° joints. The jointer has a rotating blade that cuts curved slots into the material. It's essential that mating edges are planed straight for a tight joint.
3. The biscuits will expand when in contact with fluids. This quality makes it ideal for jointing. Add some white water-based glue (intended for wood) on both mating sides of the biscuit.
4. Lastly, clamp it up! The cube will be ready for action after 20 minutes or so.
5. Ta-daa! The finished 3D version of the Ekby Shelf! - Enjoy!
The best part of the "Ekby-in-3D"-hack is that you can derive pretty much any solid cubical structure from it - So go cubistic and hack away!
