Steinways in a row. One example of how pianos can be tough to model: the distinctive Steinway treble “sparkle.” Photo (CC-BY-ND) mypouss. For something with a row of keys, the piano can prove surprisingly hard to model perfectly. But computer software, blessed with lavish storage space for samples and now-ample processing power, has a decided … Continue →

Add to myYahoo! After years of compromise, it seems like a great time to be in the market for a stage keyboard. I’m biased coming from a piano background, but I’ve always loved hammer-action instruments, even for playing sounds other than acoustic. Earlier this month, I noted that Yamaha’s MOX line offered hammer action in a 32.6-pound keyboard … Continue →

Hubby gave our address post a retro fit since after many years it was starting to fall apart. He originally made it out of a table leg and a bed post.He wanted to paint it red white and blue....ah I don't think so! I know our house is BRIGHT but I've worked really hard to pull all the right colors together and red, white and blue is not part of that! So we compromised and settled on orange like our swing. Now that it's all fixed and repainted I sealed it with PYM II like my door and mailbox are also. It has really kept them from fading and standing up to the hot sun and winter weather fabulously!

Add to myYahoo!Charoset is a chunky fruit and nut paste that is served during the Passover Seder, a Jewish ritual feast the marks the beginning of Passover. The charoset represents clay and mortar (khar-sit), as a reminder of the cement mixes the Israelites had to make for the Pharaoh's constructions.[1] Ultimately, the charoset is a symbol of hope.[2]The usual Ashkenazi charoset is made with raw grated apple, walnuts, and sweet wine. This article provides you with a few variants as well. Charoset is usually eaten with marror (bitter herbs) and unleavened bread. Charoset is best made just prior to eating.

Due to Toyota going to phase out the 2ZZ-GE engine in this coming July, Lotus will be celebrating the end of production on the current Exige and Elise this year by issuing several 'Final Edition' variants of those models.
The two last editions of the Exige will be the Exige S260 Final Edition and the S260 Final Edition in matte-black. Those editions will come with the Lotus Track Pack, Tour Pack and LSD as standard. The Elise SC Final Edition gets the same color schemes as on the Club Racer edition unveiled at the Geneva auto show in March and comes with a healthy set of options.
