Re-Bound shows readers how to take every day materials from around the house, flea markets and thrift stores, and hardware and office supply stores, and turn them into fabulous books. Instead of saying, What can I make a book out of, readers will be thinking, What can't I make a book out of? In Re-Bound, a vintage souvenir wallet becomes a photo album. Question time.

If you made a Crafting New Year's Resolution, how have you done on it?

One of my New Year's resolutions was to back up all my photos on my computer. I did in fact do that although it was a very long and complicated process being that the first attempt at buying a memory stick off Ebay ended up in my money being returned to me by Ebay because the seller disappeared and the external hard drive bought at Costco involved an upgrade of my computer's hub and then reformatting to mac all with the help of the fine tech support folks in India. OK well then I guess you did get the whole long gory story but hey ...mission accomplished!

My other New Year's resolution was to get better at cleaning up after I finished a project. I have made tiny strides on that one. My best little tip here is I put a little trash receptacle at the work station that was the worst offender of mess accumulation. Funny how that helps because before the trash can was across the room! Who wanted to get up mid project just to throw a little scrap of something away?
