After a long updates of my Europe trip and now is time for me to plan something for my Kancil. I believe you will sure wonder that why I keep on update/modify my Kancil but not Satria and Celica. And I tell you this is because I prefer to finish up one car and then to the other cars. This will not make my cars like half way modified.
Ok, still scratching my head what should I do for my Kancil before I popped the hood and realized that the induction hose is starting to give up. And this is what I plan to change next, a silicone induction hose from JASMA. Why this brand? First of all, SAMCO is not producing any silicone induction hose for L2/L5. Secondly, I wanted to try out the reliability and durability of JASMA products. Thirdly, price is affordable. You may wonder, why not go for stainless steel piping? Simple reason, I drive this car daily and I have no intention to further up boost or modify it. So silicone hose is more than enough to handle the air flow pressure from the air filter to the turbine. Besides that, stainless steels ain't cheap nowadays. Sigh...
Anyway, stop the crap here and just have a look at how bad of my current induction hose condition. The rubber is breaking up and you may notice that there is some tape around to hold the hose breakage.Stay tune with me for the DIY post.
